Dog and His Greed

1. A dog walks around a town as he sees people and their bags.

The dog sniffs around for food to eat. Suddenly, he found a bag with a whole roast of turkey in it. The dog is tempted to just take the food, but decides not to after hearing somebody calling his name.

The next day, the same dog found a bag with three whole turkeys in it! The temptation was too great for him to resist this time, so he took the food. He was caught and kicked out of the village by everyone for being greedy.

2. As society becomes more and more connected, humans are letting go of compassion, empathy, and consideration. Those who live with us are not seen as living beings anymore but instead as a commodity because they do our bidding. This is true for animals too.

A dog has it easy because his owner does all the work for him. He eats, he plays with food, and he's entertained. His only requirement is to do what the owner says and in exchange he'll be cared for his rest of his life. He never has to worry about where he lives or how he eats or if someone will come by to love him. The dog doesn't care about any of these things because the world revolves around him.

One day the dog's owner died and left all their possessions to some distant relatives who didn't know the dog at all and had no interest in him. One day the dog was left alone in a cold dark house without any food or water and nobody to take.

3. The protagonist, Dog, is a greedy man and he's in the process of robbing an old woman. The woman turns out to be a witch with the power to turn people into animals. She turns Dog into a rat and throws him out.

When the witch's husband comes home, she tells him about the robbery and then asks who he is going after next. He tells her it's not wise for her to know before he actually robs someone.

4. Dog was just a regular lazy dog who lay around all day, but when he finds out that steak, his favorite food, is on sale for only $4 instead of the regular price of $10, he starts working hard for the first time in his life. He spends all day stacking shelves and sleeping in the middle of the store so that every customer who walks in sees him immediately and is tricked into buying steak.

Eventually one of the customers realizes what Dog is doing and tells Dog's boss that he is lazy and always sleeping on the job. At that point Dog's boss starts to become suspicious about how Dog had been behaving lately, so he decides to take a closer look at him. When Dog's boss discovers what he has been doing, he fires him.

Then word gets out around town about how everyone got tricked by Dog just because they were being greedy and they all laughed at him. That night Dog was crying alone in his cage because he had lost everything.
